On the 4th May, Ofsted undertook an ungraded inspection of our school and it was found that
‘There has been no change to this school’s overall judgement of good as a result of this ungraded (section 8) inspection.’
The inspectors recognised that our pupils are proud of their school; they are happy; that they work hard, behave well and feel safe.
It was clearly evident to them that we are a good school with strong sense of community, with warm relationships between pupils and staff and with strong and effective provision for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
They were able to see that school leaders (including governors) have high aspirations for pupils and put them at the centre of decisions, where early reading and phonics teaching enables pupils to read accurately and fluently and where there is a strong culture of safeguarding.
