The inaugural Badminton Bolt was held on Saturday 20th May 2023. The weather was very kind and nearly 200 runners tackled the 5km course, with friends and family cheering them on, taking in the glorious grounds of the Badminton Estate. Before the start 'Bolt' helped to lead the participants in a warm up. The course was marshalled fantastically by the 1304 (Chippenham) Squadron Air Training Corps Cadets. First across the line was Jimmy Deane in an amazing time of 17:09.
The organising committee of George Herbert, Benn Camber, Sophie Elcock, Edwina Kelly, Rupert Monyard and Tom and Caroline Harrison did a fantastic job pulling together the event and we hope that it is the first of many.
