Trinity CE VC Primary School

Our Shining Stars this week are: Daniel; Sophie; Kodah and Tilly.

Daniel was chosen because he is trying his hardest in Phonic lessons.  Daniel can recall the correct actions, and he is trying to match it to the correct corresponding phoneme.  Daniel has worked hard all week to follow the letter shapes and say the rhymes out loud to remind him how the letter needs to be formed.

Sophie was chosen for her writing.  She has worked hard to retell the story of The Gingerbread Man and has used capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.  Well done Sophie!

Kodah was chosen because of his fantastic independent work in English.  Kodah has been working really hard to improve his independent writing.  He is getting much more accurate with his punctuation and his word choices and noun phrases have improved drastically.

Tilly was chosen because of her excellent use of relative clauses and thoughtful word choices while writing from a character's perspective in a crowd.  Well done Tilly!
